Charity Begins at Home

Ithaca interprets the word, ‘Community’ in its broadest sense – groups of people, not necessarily in the same geographic location, sharing an interest, values and the like.
In our minds any commitment to ‘Community’ has to begin at home – and, for us, this means how we deal with those close to us… Team & Alumni, Clients, Friends & Associates… first.

Below are some of the key tenets we adhere to in those dealings – these are fully spelled out through the links in the menu to the left.

Customer Care Policy
Complaints Policy
Equal Opportunity Policy

…and Extends to Those Less Fortunate…
By any measure those of us fortunate enough to have our health, a good job and a secure roof over our heads are extraordinarily lucky.   There are all too many people in the world without these things we take for granted.

Ithaca’s primary commitment to helping those less fortunate than ourselves is our involvement in the My Ten Days movement. Some of the stories from our involvement are shown through the menu link - or you may wish to have a look at their website yourself...

In addition to our commitment to My Ten Days, we also choose – around the time of the Northern Hemisphere’s Winter Solstice – to donate a significant sum to a charitable cause instead of spending it on gifts and cards for our clients and prospects.   Some of those who have benefited from this in the past are:

…while Bearing in Mind Our Global Responsibilities
Last – but not least – Ithaca is very aware of the impact that our activities have on our shared environment.

Building on the start made by our involvement in the Cycle to Work Scheme, Ithaca’s policies outlined below, seek to neutralise our environmental encroachment.
